Great-looking app. So great that they could easily have charged a couple of bucks and would probably be sitting on a decent pile of cash. A side-effect of being good and free as well as having a server-side component is that the latter is completely slammed, and it’s seemingly impossible to add Flickr and Facebook links to it at the moment.
I love the look for browsing pictures.
Nice! The old Flickr photo page was really long-in-the-tooth in my opinion, so this is a welcome improvement. I particularly like the arrow key navigation, “lights out” mode and the easier “share” options. Great job so far!
Cool collection of state tourism logos. I think Georgia’s is plain awesome, and am moderately embarrassed by my home state of California’s. In fact, the suck factor in most of them is pretty high. I’d say that New York’s iconic logo is timeless and Texas’ is bolstered by a pretty witty slogan.
I was just reading an interesting discussion on creating Flickr’s short URLs for a given photo and thought I’d pass it along. The bookmarklet posted there works great for me in Safari.

I don’t know the guy, but I ran across his Flickr page of mountain bike pics via the PocketWizard blog, and there are some pretty nice images in there. Worth a look!

Flickr has added tagging of people in photos as well as a new profile page for members. Looks pretty spiffy.
